Oh I see. I'll have a look at it in the coming workweek! Thanks for the clarification Smile!

EDIT: I have updated the filter (and also updated the Cached Header filter).

How about changing the below code
Code:
<a id="topthumb" class="toplink" href="\u?prx-keyword=.s_thumb.">Thumbnails</a>
to
Code:
<b><a href="\u?prx-keyword=.s_thumb.">Thumbnails</a></b>
which make it uniform with the "Web" left to it and looks better. Smile!

Thanks again Kye-U (and Whenever), both are now good here Smile!

Perhaps Sidki intended it to look slightly different, to indicate it was a user-addition? For myself, I'd just changed the font size to make it look the same, i.e. :-

Code:
<a id="topthumb" class="toplink" href="\u?prx-keyword=.s_thumb."><font size="-1">Thumbs</font></a> &nbsp;

I don't know the pros and cons of either method.

RE: Sidki 2008-01-02 Beta Updates - Discussion
i've noticed the Google Themes are more "cosmetically aligned" with, from the Light Blue,
Code:
".odd {background: #EFF6FF;margin: 0px -16px 0px 0px;}\r\n"
".even {background: #DFEFFF;margin: 0px -16px 0px 0px;}\r\n"

basically, the "web/thumbnails" 'banner' has a certain WIDTH, the above will make the SEARCH RESULTS line up with that instead of 'falling short' on the right-hand side...

(no, the trailing two 0px's are not needed, nor the px for the first 0px, but the first 0 is needed to 'placehold' the -16 [okay, most of you guys already knew that, lol]...)

for those familiar with the Grypen Google format (which is broken since Google made some changes), i'm still needing to add the "preview" feature...

It seems the "Google: Multi URL Untangler" filter is not working any more.
.png  url.png (Size: 62.04 KB / Downloads: 687)

When I checked the log window, that filter was not matched at all. However, when I tested the code in the test window, it did work.

.png  filter.png (Size: 33.19 KB / Downloads: 668)

2008-9-23::
Just checked that filter and found the reason. There is a
Code:
(^$OHDR(Cookie:*SID\=))
in the URL match which prevents that filter from matching when you have any google service logined in.

RE: Sidki 2008-01-02 Beta Updates - Discussion
Found a rendering issue when filtering utf-16 here:
http://www.i18nguy.com//unicode/plane1-utf-16.html

Adding a Content-Type header filter to remove the charset field seems to fix it.
Not sure what form an (un|)official sidki fix would take.

Fixing|Filtering this page (utf-32) would require a bit more work:
http://www.i18nguy.com/unicode/plane1-utf-32.html

Could you visualize what's happening here?

I've never seen a UTF-32 page in the wild. That doesn't say much though. I came across the first big-endian UTF-16 page only a year ago, and then one popped up after the other (now around 30, mostly JS/CSS). The low-endian documents are in the 100s by now.

Thanks Kye-U! All your Google fixes looked elegant, nothing that i could have done better. The only reason why i haven't just merged them is that (i think! see below) the 2008 versions in my private set seem to work.

Could you maintain the Google set from now on?

I've attached my current versions of the 2008/2009 Google filters, as well as google-dark.css, which should go to html\sidki_h_xxxx-xx-xx\Google\ . Are there any remaining issues with them?

Here are my two 2008 Yahoo filters. Can someone maintain the Yahoo set? ProxRocks?

Again, are there any other filters or list entries that have been fixed within the last year, e.g. posted at former CastleCops?

As promised before, i try to release a Beta2 config soon, the final version a couple of days later.
As stated before, what's happening with this config set afterwards is predominantly up to you. Wink

sure... shouldn't be a prob-at-all...

can't say as i know anything about the GeoCities one, but if anyone reports anything on it (link-inclusive), i should be able to track it down...

Great!

I think the Yahoo filters are quite straightforward, maybe except for "Yahoo: Clean up Site" and "Yahoo Groups: Clean up Site", which target many different pages. However, i have a log for both, showing which filter code matches on which page. I'll give them to you later.

As for the stand-alone filter sets, it's always the same few lines to modify, and they are only updated with a new config release, so - if preferred - i could continue to do that.

Maybe I can be responsible for the Google filters? I've already made updates to a couple, as posted in the other topic, and I'd be more than happy to help lighten the load for you, Sidki Wink

Ah, I should learn to read D'oh!

I will check all of your filters right now, and report back shortly.
I'll contact you privately if I have a problem understanding how the filters work Wink

EDIT: I noticed the background-image for the Dark Grey theme was "choppy", so I created a smoother one.
