I know what you mean.

Guess that flippant postcard remark got stuck like an annoying grain of sand in Odd's brain.

RE: How To Merge Filters
No matter how far I stray, I always run into this old thread on Google. I just had to stop in this time and say hello to everyone.

Lots has happened in these past two years. Sadie (Jaded Goth) put up a site for me to support my work on Slimming Down Windows XP. The guide has truly expanded since being there. It really gave me the chance to put some work and effort into it.

The site went down last month. I immediately began received offers to host Slimming Down Windows XP: The Complete Guide . I did take a couple of people up on it, to preserve the guide on the Net.

Then, to my astonishment, my site went back online yesterday. I thought it was down permanently. I had e-mailed Sadie when the site went down, because it's in her name, but she never got back to me.

So now I have my guide in three locations that I have to keep updated. I committed myself to those nice people who are now hosting my guide.

I also promised them when my site came back online that I would continue to promote my guide being on their sites...so please excuse these blatant plugs.... (Sometimes promoting a site can sure be embarrassing.)

I'm glad to see your site is a success, Kye-U.

RE: How To Merge Filters
Boldie;

Well, what do ya know?! Smile!

Glad to see that your stuff is still out and about too!Applause Redundancy is always a good thing, especially on the net, even if it means a bit more work on your part to keep it all synchronized.

Say Hi to Sadie for us, will ya? At least I truly miss her around these parts, regardless of the rest of the gang. Whistling

Stick around, ya never know who might be the next to be subjected to ProxRocks' exasperations! Shocked

(Now who in their right minds made Oddysey an administrator here?) LOL.

Hey, Oddysey! It has been a long time.

I'm sorry, but I haven't been in touch with Sadie (Jaded_Goth) for a very long time. I miss her a lot, too. She's a very nice lady. Although, she still graciously pays for my site in support of my work.

(Can you imagine the havoc this guy can cause as an administrator?) LOL. Kidding, as usual.

You take care, Oddysey.

hey now, nothing but Campbell's Alphabet Soup (not to outdo Andy Warhol) and Post Frosted Alpha-Bits were harmed in the makings of said exasperations...

besides, if i've been able to open at least one blind eye towards any "false sense of security", then well, i guess my work is not in vain - oh vanity of vanities, lol...
