If you're subscribed to the prox-list and/or to other groups, you should still be able to get a zip file of the messages, files, links, and possibly more from all of your groups, upon request, until January 31.

You should be able to use this link to submit the request for the data:

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/getmydata

Make sure Yahoo has a good email address for you on file to be notified when the data is ready.

I thought initially they only provided what the subscriber had uploaded, but they actually do provide all of the data for all of your groups in one zip file.
Great to hear!

Yes, that happens on some pages. For example, in this thread there is an embedded image reference to http://i.imgur.com/wX1pnNL.png. That is a warning saying there is a mix of secure (https) and insecure (http) elements. The more important fact is that you can rest assured that your credentials are not being sent/received in plaintext

Given that ProxHTTPSProxy and variants are in essence locally hosted projects, would it be possible (or even at all practical) to generate a certificate that's sufficiently compatible with them? I keep getting a "417: SSL Certificate Failed" with ProxHTTPSProxyMII v1.3.1
Thanks for your time and sorry about any inconvenience.

Leveraging <del>CloudFlare's</del> Let's Encrypt's SSL certificate <del>in combination with a self-signed certificate</del>, you now have an option of perusing TUOPF over an encrypted connection

UPDATE: I have moved to Let's Encrypt for true end-to-end secure connections between your browser and my host.

Simply browse to/bookmark https://www.prxbx.com/forums or click on the "Use HTTPS" button at the top-right corner of every page.

You will know you're browsing securely if you see the lock icon appear in the header logo and the "Use HTTPS" button disappears.

Thanks for testing! I've modified the security level slightly to not show the captcha checkpoint for Tor/VPN users as I do know the need for online anonymity and respect it

Can you please verify if it's working now for you? I've tested it via Tor on my end and it seems to work but I just want to make sure.

When attempting to access the forum via Tor, CloudFlare put up a captcha page. The captcha apparently comes from Google. I had all connections to Google IP ranges blocked. After I allowed the connections, the captcha was still not visible. Was not using Proxomitron or any other blocking extensions at the time. I don't know if they're requiring the captcha from all Tor exits or just certain ones.
