BetZip Online Poker = Annoying Ads
Hi everyone...

I've been playing poker at one of the online
sites, BetZip, http://www.betzip.com

They, as most places do, have a client that
you play thru and I think it's flash generated.

The problem (and why most of us are here) is
the annoying ads at the bottom. And to be honest
I really wouldn't mind the ads if they were static
but they aren't... the ads I know are flash.

So, I was wondering if there would be a way
to kill the ads and leave the client running.

I wouldn't mind doing a block on the IP addy
that they are coming from... but that's like
wading thru a swamp, so many connections
are being made.

And those IPs and ports aren't consistent.

Here's a picture of the client window

Anyone have any ideas?

thanks,

If you can find the ads in the Proxomitron's Log window or http://local.ptron/.pinfo/urls/ , you can probably block them with header filters. Blocking the ads may end the game, however.
OR
You might be able to create an "always on top" window that hid that part of the betzip interface. Hiding the ads may end the game. Wink

Good luck.
