How does one modify filters?
How would one go about modifying the filters in BFilter on a Macintosh? Are there ever any updates? I would like to add a block to auto-refresh of web pages. I find that very annoying having a page suddenly reload itself while I am in the middle of reading it.

RE: How does one modify filters?
You can still create/modify filters manually. The information you need is here, but I suggest you just develop your filters on Windows or Linux, and then copy them to your Mac, to /Library/Application Support/BFilter/filters. Don't forget to copy *.enabled files as well. Now just restart bfilter from the terminal to reload filters:
sudo /Library/StartupItems/BFilter/BFilter restart |

RE: How does one modify filters?
Thanks. I am not sure how to write the filters. Could I use the same syntax as in the Proxomitron filter?

RE: How does one modify filters?
BFilter uses it's own syntax that's based on standard regular expressions. The link I gave in my previous post has all the information you need.
