i didn't really see the point in blocking a site completely for a few bugs...1 word:

Web bugs are invisible images that are 1x1 pixels so you you cant see them. They're there just to get traffic. I don't know why hpguru blocks ALL the sites with web bugs, but you'll have to take that up with him yourself.
