not sure if this helps you or not (will likely need "tweaked")...
i add my "own" Search Box at the top of the page and it works Smile!
(but it also relies on Netflix *NOT* having a "real" e-mail address, wink, wink...)

Code:
Name = "<div>: Replace 'Your Email Address Is Invalid' with Navigation Content"
Active = TRUE
URL = "$TST(hCT=*html)[^/]++.netflix.com/"
Bounds = "$NEST(<div,</div>)"
Limit = 2000
Match = "*(Your Email Address Is Invalid)\1*"
Replace = "<center>"
          "<span class="Pr0x Pr0xComment" style=display:none;>"
          "\&bull; Netflix - \1"
          "</span>"
          "<div class="links">"

          "&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;"
          "<a href="http://www.netflix.com/Queue" style="color:#00458B">Queue</a>"
          "&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;"

          "&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;"
          "<a href="http://www.netflix.com/Logout" style="color:#00458B">Sign Out</a>"
          "</div>"
          "<table border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0><tr>"

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
one i hope simple question for now.
when i search google gets redirected to https instead of staying on http
how do i turn off this behavior?
thanks in advance.

update.
ooops, my bad.
after restarting chromeplus and proxo i'm fine.
everything went better than i expected Smile!

update 2
well it certainly sucks - http://www.ghacks.net/2011/10/23/google-...change-it/
tl; dr - if logged in to any google service, you get search results in https, + they removed the option to disable it Smile!
however! there is a way around it going to nosslsearch.google.com - http://support.google.com/websearch/bin/...wer=173733
which obviously needs adding the subdomain to google filters.

does it need to be added only to webfilters? (which i did)

i'm getting the same behavior here also, and my "faked search" no longer works either...

i've been able to log in to Netflix, search via GOOGLE, then add movies to the queue from GOOGLE search results instead of searching from within Netflix...

i'll have to dig into the Netflix search a bit further, but won't really have the time to until maybe as far out as NEXT weekend, maybe even TWO weekends from now...

Might need an addition to Exceptions like the one added for encrypted.

Code:
encrypted.google.(*/)+{1}(images\?|search\?(tbm=isch|*\&tbm=isch))
  $SET(0=a_rdlink.f_cookie.)$SET(sCookieP=0)
  $SET(sCookieF=PREF=ID=3003added0032123:FF=4:NR=100:CR=2:SG=0)
  $SET(sUserFn=§c&&c.getElementById§)$SET(sUserFnR=!)

I try to check later.

Observations
  • Google theme does not work on Google's main page
  • The light blue google theme is broken
  • Google results no longer span across the entire page

If it makes a difference, I copied the update over the previous release

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
i post a "tight light blue" that works in IE...
(i have some tweaks to do, i've noticed some results land on a 404 when they shouldn't...)

i "started" to, a while back, tweak it for Opera/Firefox/Chrome "engines", but there didn't seem to really be a large enough user base at the time..

what browser are you using?

After you extract the zip to the Proxomitron's folder, load the "sidki_2011-12-22rc1.ptron" config. Do not "Merge-O-Matic" or otherwise merge this cfg with your old cfg.

It works for me...

However, it won't work while using Opera turbo, if you are using Opera turbo.

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
Hello everyone. I hope you are doing well.

I just got around to downloading the new config a few days ago.
Much respect for JJoe and this forum for keeping Proxo ALIVE!

Unfortunately, when I extracted the zip to the Proxo's folder and
loaded the "sidki_2011-12-22rc1.ptron" config, while surfing the
Internet I notice webpages are loading slower and Proxomitron's
CPU rises up to 80-100%. So the new config raises Proxo's CPU
for me and sites are loading a lot more sluggish.

So I reverted back to the "sidki-2010-10-23" config and there's
no problem -- Proxo's CPU went back to normal which is about
0-10% CPU while loading webpages. I don't know, maybe it is
a new filter causing the CPU hike, but I can't use the new config
and I feel like I've been left out of a game all of you are playing. :-)

Big salute to Proxomitron and all members of The Un-Official
Proxomitron Forum. Peace.

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
you haven't given us ANY "details", we have nothing to "look into" based on that post...

can't you give us a web site or two that you noticed this "claimed" sluggish behavior?

and is your current config the 'default' "sidki-2010-10-23" or HAVE YOU MADE CHANGES TO IT?

and if you HAVE made changes to it, YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE SAME CHANGES to the "sidki_2011-12-22rc1.ptron" config before you can "compare" the two to each other for "claimed" sluggish behavior...

Sorry, I'm not as savy as some of you in the forum
about how to provide details about this particular
issue. I just extracted the zip to the Proxo's folder
like I've done for about 10 years now and loaded
the "sidki_2011-12-22rc1.ptron" config, and after
I began surfing Proxo's CPU in taskmanager was
at about 80-90% when I was surfing online. BTW,
the sluggish behaviour is not "claimed". It's simply
because the CPU is high. I am a HUGE supporter
of Proxo and don't down a program I think is great.

Quote:and is your current config the 'default' "sidki-2010-10-23" or HAVE YOU MADE CHANGES TO IT?

No changes. I extract the zip and then go into
webpage and headers and tweak it how I like.
I don't change the 'default' "sidki-2010-10-23"
by importing new filters not unless it's a single
update for the 'default' "sidki-2010-10-23".

Quote:and if you HAVE made changes to it, YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE SAME CHANGES to the "sidki_2011-12-22rc1.ptron" config before you can "compare" the two to each other for "claimed" sluggish behavior...

All I did was extract "sidki_2011-12-22rc1.ptron"
config into Proxo's folder and then loaded it. I
then went to configure and webpage/headers
settings and I tweaked it how I like. From there
I went online and Proxo was causing the CPU
hike which made the browser and the browsing
sluggish. That's never happened to me before
in about 10 years of using Proxo so I went back
to the 'default' "sidki-2010-10-23" and the CPU
is back to normal.

Maybe I'll extract "sidki_2011-12-22rc1.ptron"
into Prox's folder once more to see if Prox's
CPU goes up again. Thanks for responding
to my question ProxRocks and have a great
rest of the day. I will let you know how it turns
out. Thank you. Peace.

Um, well, every time there's a new config I usually
make the settings the same way. Simple changes
like I uncheck: "Title: Append Last-Modified or ETag"
and "Title: Prepend Proxy Indicator" and a couple
others, but not many. I update "Exceptions-U.ptxt"
too by copy and pasting my URLs into it from the
older list from "sidki_l_2010-10-23". That's it.

I may have missed something and didn't change
both configs exactly the same way, but if I did, it
would only be by a setting or two. I will check it.

Btw, in the past I experimented with Proxo and
changed the settings a lot in other configs just
to see how it works and never had any probs.

I am wondering if I should just unninstall Proxo
and start from scratch. I don't want to do that,
but it's nice to be updated. Right now I'm using
the default "sidki_l_2010-10-23" and it works
fine. Before doing this though, I think I will zip
"sidki_l_2011-12-22rc1" over top Prox's folder
again and go online to see if Prox's CPU lowers.

Much respect for JJoe and ALL Proxo users.
I am thinking this is a filter or maybe browser
conflict/installation issue. Who knows? I'll let
you know if it goes away. Peace to ProxRocks
for trying to help solve the problem...Salute

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
there's really "never" a need to 'uninstall' Proxo...
technically, there is no 'install'...
if you extracted the "new" into your Proxo folder, then you're done, everything is "updated"...

i'm not really sure of the best way to debug a high cpu utilization...
something seems amiss though, the new shouldn't be eating up the cpu...

if you open the log window, the window that looks a lot like a "command prompt" window, does the log show a high number of any one given filter while loading a "sluggish" web page?
