Hoping to get everybody on the same base. A few corrections, updates, new filters and lists.
SIDKI 2011-12-22rc1 because I am hoping for no alpha or beta type problems.

Filters marked [add] may be added. Those marked test may be merged with other filters.

Regarding, "Remove: Ad Scripts - Noscript" behaving at http://prxbx.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=1689
I have added a Script Filter Manager routine. <script> filters for content-type HTML pages may be bypassed due to source url, inline script's content, and etc.

The routine is three filters, some variables, and a list.

! |||||||||||| 2.3 Set default-Remove: Ad Scripts - Noscript 11.12.18 (d.2)(Out)[ADD]
Sets a variable "MaxScriptsRemoved" to control the number of script tags removed by the "Remove: Ad Scripts - Noscript" filter. Initially set to "ss", to remove no more than 2, "MaxScriptsRemoved" may be changed to suit.

<script> Manage: script filters 11.12.17 [d.0 l.3] [ADD]
Matches and replaces "<script" to hide scripts from some filters.

<script> Manage: Remove: Ad Scripts - Noscript 11.12.18 (fail) [d.0 l.3] [ADD]
Searches for reasons to disable the "Remove: Ad Scripts - Noscript" filter with $SET(ScriptMan=.i_noscr:4.).

$LST(lst4content)
Contains reasons to disable or bypass filters.

.zip  prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1.zip (Size: 324.17 KB / Downloads: 2554)

Exit the Proxomitron, extract the zip to the Proxomitron's folder, restart the Proxomitron, witness the glory of "The Proxomitron Intro Page".

After you add your header filters you may need to ensure that the order in the config is the same as the header filter editor.
On my windows7: I save my header filter changes, load a different config, reload the first config, and save again.

Blocking:
Documentation.
Script Filter Manager routine.
IE9 may, or appears to, fail to load set's local css.
Reread sidki's notes.
Health, wealth, pursuit of happiness, time.... Wink

Have fun

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
I have found a possible error. It is likely an error that would cause no problems and it may not even be an error.

Anyways, the "Google Images: Direct Links" filter has a possible double entry of an expression in the URL section. It is "$TST(hCT=*html)$TST(hCT=*html)" followed by the rest of the expression.

Probably a cosmetic error only or it may not be an error but I'm not sure. I came cross it and thought I would report it.

By the way, the Google filters seem to work great. Thanks, JJoe.

It is an error but the filter will still work. The extra entry just slows things down.

I have removed one entry and changed the filter's date to 11.12.27 .

Thanks

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
Google Autocomplete, wont stay enabled.
http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?complete=0 when I change the 0 to a 1 it comes back as a 0 or adds an extra line as in
http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?complete=1&complete=0

http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?complete=1...complete=0

etc etc etc.

I changed settings in google, its a simple thing to fix cause I did it the last time but for the life of me I cant remember what I did or how I fixed it.

I just want autocomplete on in google, which of the new google filters should i be playing with!

Kind Regards

Disable the header filter

Disable the google web filters that you were not using before.

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
only thing i've found so far, and it's a bit trivial i suppose, is the "ETag" filter 'naming' scheme...

the added "Remove All" filter has an extra space in front of its name...
this, i foresee, is actually INTENTIONAL so that the "remove" will always be placed FIRST when-and-if Proxo "re-orders" the Header Filters...

when "ordering" is intentional, i've always preferred enumerating the filter names -

ETag: 1 Remove All
ETag: 2 Append Prox Field

i'm not sure if it really matters though, Header Filters have always been confusing to me...

RE: prox-config-sidki_2011-12-22rc1
Hi JJoe ... just discovered this new Proxomitron configuration. I have one simple question ... just not sure from reading all that has been posted so far. Should the older Sidki 2010-10-23 configuration files be completely removed or do they need to also be left in the Proxomitron folder to work with this new 2011-12-22 configuration. I think the older configs were always removed when a new Sidki configuration file came out but once I remember he said not to remove an older file and just add the new one, since they needed to work together. Thanks for this new file.

Zip contains all the files needed to add the sidki cfg. The old sidki files and folders are not needed but there is no need to remove them. The old cfg may help debug the new.

Have fun.

Netflix search doesn't work after signing into Netflix. This was a problem with the previous main release too. I'm on WiinXP and Win7, same behavior in IE and Opera.
