Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

When I do a Google search using IE8, it displays with a white background and the AVG safe site feature works

When I do a Google search using FF, it displays with a dark blue background and the AVG safe site feature doesn't work.

FF is definitely using Proxo and IE8 is my default browser.

Any suggestions?

That's normal if you didn't set Proxo as the proxy in IE8.

It seems I hadn't set up the [No Proxy] fields in both browsers correctly. IE8 was OK, but FF was wrong. IE8 included Google and FF, because it was wrong, didn't. Once I got that sorted, removed Google from both and cleaned up the syntax, they now work the same. Thanks.

Now I have to figure out why AVG AV flags "safe sites" in IE8, but not in FF. *** Update: Seems it's a "known problem" with AVG. :o(
