looking at embedded .gif in IE vs. FF
so, I have this link which is sent via email on the company intranet

\\kkwww\stuff\link\move.html

where kkwww is the name of the server

firefox opens it up as
file:////kkwww/stuff/link/move.html

and FF will *not* show the embedded gif file which is in the format
IMG SRC="\\kkkwww\stuff\link\plot28.gif"

however, Internet Explorer 6 and 7 does it just fine

both use proxo with jdlist configs on xp sp2

how can I make FF work like IE in this regard?

can I add to the ..\Lists\Bypass List.txt a definition for the file://// ?
