There are none of those two matches.

Sometimes I have to solve 4 captchas but you don't seem to be getting that far.

(Feb. 15, 2022 11:33 AM)ProxRocks Wrote:  2022-02-15_6-31-13.png

I wonder. Sometimes, instead of the captcha, I will see

Quote:This is taking longer than expected, check your Internet connection and reload the page if the problem persists.

or 'Some file was accidentally cached... Please reload.'

Maybe you are see the problem without the alert and just need fresh files.

Opera hasn't always refreshed cached files as expected. When I suspect this, I open DevTools to the Network tab, enable "Disable cache", and load the page with DevTools open.
I don't know if 360Chrome has this problem but it does have a "Disable cache" setting on its DevTools Network tab.

You could also try adding

Code:
newassets.hcaptcha.com/c/&*/hsw.js $SET(0=a_jsprop.a_adfn2.)

to the other hcaptcha entries in Exceptions-U.

Lets see if there is anything we can do.

The attached CloudflairTest.cfg only modifies the Accept-encoding header.
Can you access the site with it?

Yes, I can access the site with that test config.

(Feb. 17, 2022 01:59 AM)ProxRocks Wrote:  Eureka! That works!

I noticed that the BypassURL, SslCiphers, and MaxCapURL lines are different than in the 2019-01-26b1 config - which entries are preferred for everyday use?

Glad it works because it implies that we should be able to 'fix' the 2019-01-26b1 config.
Add a filter that will visibly modify the page, so we can be sure the Proxomitron is actually in the middle.

That cfg is probably not one you want to use. It is a modified version of Scott's default cfg for the Proxomitron with almost all of the filters disabled.

We can't use the BypassURL with 2019-01-26b1.

The MaxCapURL entry is personal choice. I like to see more lines at http://local.ptron/.pinfo/urls/

I changed SslCiphers to use the 'strongest' available. Hoping that it would help at Cloudflare. But, if you didn't start the Proxomitron with a cfg that used that line, you may not have been using those ciphers.

Now we have to find what it is about 2019-01-26b1 that hangs the page for you but not me...

Did you start the Proxomitron with the Cloudflare cfg?

No. Started it with my default (based on 2019-01-26b1 with uNorm). Then used the systray context menu to load the test config.

Ah yes, I see that now. I didn't look that deep the first pass, just knew it worked for those Cloudfare captchas.

RE: prox-config-sidki_2019-01-26b1
I would be interested in a filter that sets any javascript timer that exceeds a preset limit (8 minutes?) converted to hours instead.

If the timer kicks in at 8 minutes, make it 8 hours instead.

If the timer kicks in at 14 minutes, make it 14 hours instead.

Normally, I can rely on the "timer" button that sidki's config places in the lower left corner but this particular web site will not function unless I set a_jsmeth.a_jsprop. in Exceptions-U.

End-in-mind, I don't want any of my web sites automatically logging me out just because that web site thinks I'm "idle".

I'm not "idle", I simply have that web site on monitor #5 and I'm working on monitor #1 while reading monitor #5 but not "doing anything" on monitor #5.

edit - another route perhaps, can we force all "requestIdleCallback" functions to always return 10 seconds so that the web site thinks I'm not "idle"? Maybe even "requestAnimationFrame" and "queueMicrotask"?

So it is probably not the ciphers...

Does this filter

Code:
[Patterns]
Name = "Remove logo"
Active = TRUE
URL = "raybuck.com/firebird-vs-trans-am-history-trivia/"
Limit = 512
Match = "<div class=$AV(logo-tagline-container)*</a> </div>$STOP()"
Replace = "It's gone"

remove the Raybuck auto body parts logo and parts search box at the top of https://raybuck.com/firebird-vs-trans-am-history-trivia/?

Yes. Only in the CloudfairTest.cfg (as I cannot load raybuck.com in anything but it).

RE: prox-config-sidki_2019-01-26b1
Hope I'm not asking too many questions.
Quickly discovering I didn't learn as much about sidki's set as I thought I did way back when Sad

This one should be easy.

I have a test-case filter to nullify "idle".
Works for what I need it to do and haven't bumped into any ill side efects (well, some, but not adverse enough yet, I can easily add a flag to limit which sites it gets used on).

But how do I have it add to any of the "Display Information" flyovers that are displayed in the lower left corner?

Code:
Name = "Nullify Idle    22.02.18 [pfr] [add++]"
Active = TRUE
URL = "$TYPE(js)"
Limit = 4
Match = "Idle"
Replace = "null"

JJoe - what are your Exceptions-U entries for Google?

I'm unable to get Google Sheets / Docs / Voice / Gmail / Drive to log in while using Proxomitron.
