Not bad... But I still prefer sidki's version...

The ONLY thing I go to CC for is the Proxo forums...
Your version leaves mickey-mouse topics still in place, stealing precious real estate - and you know how I feel about ensuring every inch of my monitor is filled with USEABLE content...

Some of these are not needed "in conjunction" with sidki's (or Kye-U's version thereof), but I felt I'd put all of mine here in one place...

I use them in conjuction with sidki's updated filter...
Makes for a nice CLEAN CC Proxo start page (http://www.computercops.biz/forum-cat14.html)...

Whoa! Impressing. That layout there must have really bugged you. Big Teeth

BTW: I had a reason why i restricted most of the layout changes to the Prox forum and its subforums:
That CC filter is part of a public config, CC is supporting Prox, AFAIK the layout there is quite precious to Paul.

There was a recursion in the ComputerCops filter that slowed things down. I edited that post.

You mean the left-side dopdown menu, right?
Works here with the default 4-11 config in IE6 (and shells), Firefox 0.8+, Opera 7.5 .
Such things are often browser-dependent, do you use any other browser?
Does the menu work when Prox is bypassed?
Also, did you add any filters? If so, try switching them off and clear the browser cache.

Hi all,

I was working on a Proxomitron tools menu, which has space for more entries.
Especially for the translation and the "allow" part i don't know what you use most.

For translation i have (space for 2 more enties):
Google: de es fr it pt
BabelFish: jp
BabelFish: cn
BabelFish: ru
BabelFish: choose
InterTran: choose

For "allow" i have (space for max. 4 more entries):
All JavaScript
All Ads
Ad Banners
Ad Scripts
Ad Functions
Redirecting Links
JS Links
Meta Refresh
Flash
------------
Block Scripts

Any suggestions?

edit: Here is a screenshot, looks a bit different in each browser, needs more vertical space for the right column in IE.

Wow! That screenshot is *impressive*...
I can't wait to put this new tools menu to use...

One thing that would be useful is a "toggle cookie settings" option...
My default uses "Option I" header cookie settings and everything checked under the web filters "Cookie Control" section...

There are times when I need to go in and manually switch over to "Option II" and uncheck the cookie blocking filters in the "Cookie Control" section...

Hmm... I'll see if it's possible but i'm not sure it is. The cookie management is different now anyway. You don't need to toggle all block/session filters anymore, but just two header filters:
Set Flag: Session Cookies by Default
Set Flag: Block Cookies by Default
I think i posted the new filters as part of the BugMeNot post, not sure.
The problem with a toggle switch is that it would need to know which of both settings is currently active (possible) and deactivate that one (difficult).

As for the translation part, maybe most of the translation links aren't necessary, because you are there with 3 clicks from the "choose" links, so 3 entries - Google automatic, BabelFish, and InterTran - could suffice -- dunno.

edit: No, just the cookie header filters are in BugMeNot.zip, but the change for the web filters is easy to do:
To the URL match of the session-only filters add "$TST(cookie_s=[12])".
To the URL match of the blocking filters add "$TST(cookie_b=[12])".
Then leave all filters active and you're done. Smile!

Good to hear you like the menu,
sidki

Come to think of it, I like the "set flag" deployment better - that's how I engage/disengage JakxPack...

I'll go fetch that BugMeNot, I somehow must have missed that thread...

Huh, anything wrong with that blue, ProxRocks?? Big Teeth

Me too, my debug stylesheet is all blue as well. Smile!

Just noticed that in IE form drop-down boxes get thru the menu. No Expression
Well, can't help it because i really want it to be lower right of the viewport.

The translate part was probably too much, i removed BabelFish cn and ru, and added "Ad Tables" to the "allow" column.

No, I love it...

Kye-U forgot to use his "sarcasm font" when saying 'looks nasty'...
Because it looks AWESOME, not 'nasty'...

Unless it was one of those "not bad meaning bad, but bad meaning good" [to quote dear ol' Run-DMC] <insert the scratch of vinyl here>...
