My friend reported these being used after using your config plus all of the updates (including those 3 filters)

Quote:Match 191: Top Sniff: HTML Content: HTML    4.06.20 [s] (d.1)
Match 191: Top Mark: HTML - Fix Tags    4.06.20 (multi) [s] (d.r)

He still can't get past the "Loading..." page Sad

Works here in Firefox 0.8+ and IE6/MyIE2.
I'd tell him to make sure that the "IncludeExclude" part is right, clear the cache, restart the browser, *and* remove the old GMail cookies to get new ones.
Else i dunno No Expression

edit: I don't think that the loading page is the problem, but if it is, try bypassing (or "bweb"):
gmail.google.com/gmail/html/loading.html

Try it first with my OOB config, then reactivate your own filters. Stuff like "Kill Nosey JavaScripts" is doomed to cause problems.

He said it works now! Thanks for your help!

He had to add these to his Bypass list:

gmail.google.com/gmail/html/loading.html
gmail.google.com/gmail?view=page&name=js*

And add a Bypass in Kill Nosey JavaScripts for GMail.

With your update Gmail is working fine for me. I now only have a problem with ESPN where your toolbar is hidden.

Good to hear that the update was okay. Smile!

That "hidden b/c overlayed toolbar thing" happens on quite a few pages that use "position:absolute", can't help it for now Sad (will be fixed in the next version, where the toolbar is implemented differently).

edit: Or did the toolbar disappear after the update?

No no, it's still there just behind some elements. With other sites there are no problems.

My toolbar is completely defunct after the update - out-of-the-box 4/11 with nothing but update changes...

ProxRocks: Here is the 4-11 config file with the new filters merged - same position as the old ones, really important - old versions just unticked.
Can't see any (new) toolbar problem in Fx, MyIE, Opera (and i tried hard :-).

What is this? Can't attach zip files. Renamed to *.zip.txt, but it's a zip!

The up-arrow "cookie" is listed, but does not "collapse upward"...
The up-arrow "tools" is no longer listed...

And the .css apparently isn't loading because the up-arrow is no longer an up-arrow and the font for the cookie text is no longer "decorated"...

I hope that helps, that's what sticks out from memory after making the updates...
But then I took the updates back out right away (can't live without the toolbar)...

That and I have two sidki configs, the out-of-the-box and a sidki_mod...
My sidki_mod has your toolbar at the bottom and a JD modified hidden-icon menu at the top - but after the updates, the hidden-icon menu was visible and moved to the bottom (also without css decoration)...

Of course, I'm not looking for sidki_mod assistance (IMO, nobody should expect anything from you outside of out-of-the-box functionality [I guess it bugs me enough when others need to disable add-ins to discover it was those add-ins that were messing up things elsewhere])...
Once I get the updates to function with the OOTB, I can get my add-ins to cooperate with it...

Anyway, I'll gladly put the updates back in if more help is needed for debug...
Please let me know...

Now that is interesting...
btw, I posted while you were posting and you beat me to the "submit"...

I'll double-check things on my end again...
It is possible that a .js has been modified since the 4/11 release to get JD's hidden-icon menu to function - but they "should be" different ID's and such...

The config file itself is strictly OOTB, but there is a chance that something else may be different that is effecting the toolbar...

In fact, I know that JSProperties is different from the 4/11 release...
Any chance that additions to it may effect the toolbar?

Odd... Everything is working now...
Seems my OOTB config file is no longer OOTB - the .js differences aren't messing anything up...
The above attached 4/11 is now my OOTB - I must have missed an "edit" to the original config download and had an older one that I only thought was the final release...

Anyway, all is working now...
Thank you for your time...
