Parallel threat: I like firefox, because it is very configurable. We can decide what and how many addons to use, and i select them carefully. I improve my boot time, rebooting my system, and executing filemon from sysinternals and later firefox to read the time wich requires each file/component. I saw for me it's better don't save history and don't use safebrowsing from google. I admite firefox uses a lot of memory, and ie apparently uses less, but this is because a part of is core is already in memory. And about Chrome, i don't understand but it uses IE rendering motor, and i tested it with facebook, opened 4 tabs, and it took 30 mb each tab. Other thing we could speak it's about the use of ram, and the intensive use of hard disk. Anyway let's follow dreaming with our wonderful proxomitron. And let's hope in the future we could add an javascript motor to interpret document.write before filtering
