RE: Setting up Tor with Privoxy and Proxomitron
As far as I know, firefox switches back to port 8118 and I don't know why.
Here is the debugging part: I ran all 3 programs, tor and privoxy is working fine like usual. I opened up firefox and I have checked all logs for tor and privoxy and they are fine(no errors), but no requests or information about proxomitron in there logs. During that time, I also checked proxomitrons log and there is no activity what so ever about privoxy or tor. You said, 'have you added the proxy settings to user.js?'.......that part I was confused because I have no file named 'user.js' in privoxy, proxomitron, or Tor files and directories. I checked the file that I downloaded from you called 'Privoxy Tor Settings.zip' and in it contains the following 3 files: config.txt default.action standard.action I checked everywhere but I do not have a file named 'user.js' I am using version 4.5 of proxomitron(english version) and the latest version of privoxy and tor(vildalia bundle) sorry if I didn't point that out before. As of now, I guess I need 'user.js' which I don't have, if you have it hand it over please arrrrghhh ![]() -- Peter |
