found a solution that i'm happy with...
rename New Moon's plugin-container.exe to plugin-container.exe.bak (effectively disables it completely)... then in Tools -> Preferences -> Applications - set Content Type "Adobe Acrobat Document" to "Use Adobe Reader 9.5 (default)"... this setting was set to "Always ask" - but i'd never get 'asked' when a website pdf was viewed from within the website... i use a "slimmed down [lite]" version of Adobe Reader 9.5.5 and it opens much quicker than any browser-specific plugin does anyway... |
