I can't fault your guesswork about the Flash version, I have no way to test on my end that might be of help to you. All I can tell you is that I haven't updated my particular Browser-only version since 11.2.202.160, and that's pretty old - the latest version is 11.9.900.152. (I never allow any software to automatically update, nor even scan for updates... I'm sure I needn't spell why. )

Good luck finding that culprit!
