RE: Google problems on Opera and Iron/Chrome
you could use a stylesheet to clear scroogle's highlighting. This is a yellow word in view-source:
<b style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">HIGHLIGHTED</b>
this line in a scroogle css file should work
b{background-color:#fff!important;}

i don't get google suggest, but haven't deliberately done anything to prevent it...

the num=100 problem.
use header filter add to search url:
&as_qdr=all&num=100

just &num=100 worked until a couple months ago, now google wants &as_qdr=all&num=100

adding the newer tbs=qdr:w4 instead of the old as_qdr=all didn't work when i tested for solution.
i think i tried tbs=qdr:all
which still did not "force" the num=100, but google may not accept "all" value for tbs=qdr:
_______
google cookies off. also js off on google images and some lesser searches (video, and maps, IIRC)
