RE: Yahoo mail acting weird
Okay, thanks for confirming.
I forgot that you imply IE as browser. Yes, broken in IE6 here as well.Troubleshooting isn't difficult: First step is of course trying to narrow things down via the "Allow" section in the Prox menu. That isn't really applicable here, because many documents are involved. Next step: the webfilters. - The two most likely trouble causing sections are "Anti-Scripting" and "Anti-Ad III - Specific". Select the entire "Anti-Scripting" section and *right* click one of the checkboxes to uncheck them all. -> Y!Mail works. - "Anti-Scripting" has two different types of filters: The upper ones, all starting with "<script>:", and the lower ones. Latter being most likely responsible. Upper section reactivated -> Y!Mail still works. - Track it down to "Block/Modify: Sel. JS Methods". - Reload config, go to the Headers window, uncheck "4.1.b Log to Main (ctrl+shift key) + Rare", and check "4.1.a Log to Main + Rare". - Reload config after having logged in and having tried one of the defunct functions. - Open Log-Main.log -- See: Code: [2009-4-2 16:27:07] WEB JS_Method location.href http://mail.yimg.com/d/combo?/mg/5_2_15/js/yui_utils.js&/mg/5_2_15/js/core.js&bc/bc_2.0.4.js&/mg/5_2_15/js/darla.js&/uh/js/uh-1.3.2.js&/mg/5_2_15/js/async.js&/mg/5_2_15/js/imboot.js- Add the corresponding bypass keyword, "i_loc_j:0.", to discussed IncludeExclude-U entry: Code: mail.yimg.com/d/combo\?*/darla.js $SET(0=a_adfn1.a_adfn2.i_loc_j:0.)-> WFM, hopefully for you as well! ![]() (Once IE supports the "__defineGetter__" method, like all modern browsers do, this type of problems will be gone.) |
