Updated zlib.dll file - Printable Version +- The Un-Official Proxomitron Forum (https://www.prxbx.com/forums) +-- Forum: Forum Related (/forumdisplay.php?fid=37) +--- Forum: Proxomitron Program (/forumdisplay.php?fid=4) +--- Thread: Updated zlib.dll file (/showthread.php?tid=283) |
- Kye-U - Nov. 08, 2004 09:23 PM http://www.winimage.com/zLibDll/ Click on "zlib122dll.zip - pre-built zlib DLL" to download it! In the ZIP file, go to "dll32" and then copy "zlibwapi.dll" to your Proxomitron folder (where Proxomitron.exe is located.) At this point, make sure Proxomitron is closed, not minimized in the system tray. Rename the existing "zlib.dll" file to "zlib.dll.bak", and then rename "zlibwapi.dll" to "zlib.dll". Now, start Proxomitron, and start filtering [lol] If you encounter any problems, please feel free to post it, and then revert back to the old version. How? Close Proxomitron, Delete "zlib.dll", Rename "zlib.dll.bak" to "zlib.dll". Enjoy! Thank you to jjoebugg and Mr. MacPhedran over at the Prox-List for bringing this up! - ProxRocks - Nov. 09, 2004 11:03 AM Okay, now that I've done all that and it went seemlessly and all, just what does the new zlib.dll gain me? - z12 - Nov. 09, 2004 02:43 PM You can read about here: http://www.zlib.net/ Mike |
