Presentation and question on new ways of filtering - Charola - Dec. 13, 2012 05:06 PM Hi, New here. Old to proxomitron. I used it mostly plain as it came, with some special rules I've made to some sites I visit. In time... I've noticed that mostly everything is moving to https. I know that proxomitron can deal with that but I don't like the way it does. I've thought of a browser extension that captures the incoming HTML from the browser AFTER the SSL stuff has been verified and filters as Proxomitron does, then renders. I've been superficially looking around year after year but haven't found a way on firefox (or examples) where one can tap into the Buffer when it's loading, but before it renders or processes new requests. Whatever comes later it's just crap, as GreaseMonkey. Does anyone here have a clue on where to start for this matter? Thanks and happy new year. Take a look at ProxHTTPSProxy, a Proxomitron SSL Helper Program, here: http://prxbx.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=1618 |
