How can I...? - 212eta - Apr. 08, 2009 09:29 PM Hello everybody! I'm am New to Proxomintron and to this Forum. 1) My question has to do with sites having Toogle-Windows Media Player video like This In that case, the page looks like this Image 2) This Also happens with Toggled FLASH Objects as this Image shows -What should I deselect in the 'HTML Web Page Filters' (I guess...) so that I will not have Toggled objects like Flash and Windows MediaPlayer ? Thank you!!! RE: How can I...? - ProxRocks - Apr. 08, 2009 09:51 PM you shouldn't "deselect" anything... rather, you need to SELECT (and SAVE your config and RELOAD) this filter - Flash & Media Toggle: Show/Play by Default 6.08.01 (fail) [sd] (o.0) How can I...? - 212eta - Apr. 08, 2009 10:13 PM (Apr. 08, 2009 09:51 PM)ProxRocks Wrote: you shouldn't "deselect" anything...O.K. I found it and Modified it. Situation is better now... My Primary reason for using Proxomitron is to deal with Nasty Pop-ups and annoying Ad windows. Proxomitron is the Ultimate AdBlocker! 1) Are there any Additional Settings I need to go through and Modify (i.e. Check or Un-Check) if I want to use Proxomitron Mainly as an AdBlocker? Thank you in advance!!! RE: How can I...? - sidki3003 - Apr. 08, 2009 11:53 PM Yes. You would probably want to run the config in either Minimal or Light Mode. Please read at least sidki-etc\ReadMe.txt, which you find in your Proxomitron folder. For further details about the different modes and other options, see sidki-etc\Config-Control.txt.
