I confirm this happens very often, and also concerns the info displayed by the filter "Display Important Info 06.08.01 (fail) [sd] (d.0)".
Beyond being disgracious, it prevents copying text from the line under it.
As it shows near top of the page, I frequently meet this problem when trying to copy some text from the first lines of a Wikipedia page.
The only workaround I found is unticking the webfilter "Display Important Info 06.08.01 (fail) [sd] (d.0)".
But I'd be interested in a better way of sending the footer to bottom of page.

help - why is this site ( https://www.selectaccount.com/eConsumer/ ) not opening in IE8 and the sidki 2011-12-22rc1 config ???
is it the "script" in the <head> section ???

nevermind, solved it...
the <head> script "var proto = String.fromCharCode(100+4,97+19,114+2,101+11,110+5,109-51);" needed to be changed to "var proto = "http:";" (for half-ssl, at least)...
