- garcot - Jul. 24, 2004 04:59 PM Dear Proxo Friends, Thanks for participation in this intriguing and ever learning thread. New Incarnation HTTP Filter: In = TRUE Out = TRUE Key = "Connection: Close all connections (in+out) {JakBeNymble}" URL = "[a..z]|[0-9]|\q|\p" Match = "*|[#0-*]" Replace = "close" can an any one help me to close individual connections by Connection number? I tried the following Replacement Text: Connection[#0-*]=close And page loading has become even faster. Or is it an illusion? Can anyone clarify what it means? Thanks Garcot 512 kbps Cable Modem connection without remote proxies. - Oddysey - Jul. 25, 2004 07:24 AM Gang; OK, checking back in. After nearly a week, I see no difference in adding those addiitional PerX_0Server registry entries. Perhaps it's my bandwidth, perhaps I'm being throttled down in some other fashion, and I'm failing to recognize it. As far as keeping 'em, YOYO. Me, I'm tossing 'em out. Ditto for the Kill Connections filter. No difference that I can detect in page loading times. But it costs nothing to leave the filter on, so I'll do that until some reason comes along that compels me to turn it off. Oddysey |
