Amy would still be blocked from participating in this forum. I'm guessing amy's browser is unable to process some javascript and|or is proxied though the post's logged ip address. IOW, a false positive.
I was blocked while creating my private message about this to Kye-U with a direct connection, Win10, and Firefox.

Regardless, the policies of hosts have been unacceptable for some people. Amy apparently finds this place acceptable.

I too assumed the Bunny Shield(?) was a cost and time saving measure. I'm all for saving both.

Let's hope the shield can be adjusted to allow for us TUOPF oddballs.

I don't know what Amy tried, but perhaps a private browser, or just another browser is enough to get passed the gate. But I get dozens of cloudflare or other services such as bunny or anubis - https://github.com/TecharoHQ/anubis - "challenges" a day, it's annoying, but a sign of the times.

Blame the AI companies that don't respect robots.txt directives not the websites trying to keep costs down to a reasonable level.

I encountered this stupid blocking the last time I wanted to make a new release of Proxomitron Reborn here.

Now I have found a different machine which will let me through after that unwanted and intrusive "check", but I should not have to fight against this, on the very site that supports Proxomitron and its ideals of "your web, your way".

I will check back on the 22nd anniversary of Scott's passing. If I am not able to access this site from my usual machine, this will be my last post here. No more releases of Proxomitron Reborn. If you turn against those who support you, they have little reason to continue that support!

Please add URL (or host name) for closed connection message in the log. Add some debug info (connection stage?) to catch aborting bug.

Proxy - add: "Enter new proxy server" window has multi-line input field: a new line from the pasted text "clears" the input.

Lines from the log are not copied via Ctrl-C when using a proxy:
I select the line "Host:" and press Ctrl-C

But Reborn selects the line "HTTP/1.1 200 Connection established" and copies it to the buffer!

Proxies can be found on sites like free-proxy-list.net; they die all the time.
