RE: faulty patches ??? - ProxRocks - Mar. 19, 2015 04:07 PM i must visit several https sites on a daily basis... i get DOZENS of ssl cert crap warnings per day if i do not use half-ssl... therefore half-ssl is a *MUST* ![]() to NOT filter these daily https sites is *NOT AN OPTION*, they *MUST* be filtered
RE: faulty patches ??? - amy - Mar. 24, 2015 04:57 PM What browser do you use? At least with Firefox, if it's always the same sites, you should be able to add a certificate exception for that. RE: faulty patches ??? - ProxRocks - Mar. 28, 2015 07:24 PM the cited issues were Win7 x64, GreenBrowser 6.8.015, and Opera 12.17 x64... did not test in Pale Moon and QupZilla, i only use them when "all else fails" and i *have to* run "naked" (ie, no Proxo at all)... my Win 7 x64 issues were basically "fixed" by telling Proxo to *NOT* use *any* SSL .dll's (but to use half-ssl so that i can still filter SSL web sites)... since then, i've been able to integrate "patched" AHCI drivers into WinXP x64 and get it finally install and axe the d@mn Win7 that came with the new computer... i have not re-tested to see if i can use the the previous Proxo method (ie, using "patched" SSL .dll's and Google/YouTube "behaving")... |
