I can't seem to connect to my iDisk through the OSX finder when using Bfilter. I can work around this by disabling BFilter from the location menu when I need the iDisk. Is there another better solution?

Thanks, Doug
I'll look at it later today.
It turns out the problem is the lack of support for OPTIONS method in BFilter. I'll try to add it before the next release.
Thanks jart for the legwork on this one and the flickr problem as well.

Could you try this new build:

jart, tried this build out and it does seem to work with my idisk through the finder. Those blogspot sites also seem to work better. But... those said blogspot sites seem real laggy compared to using a blocker like privoxy.

thanks, Doug
BFilter can cause slowdowns because it fetches external scripts without caching them. It's possible to overcome this limitation by installing a caching proxy in front of it, or using your ISP's proxy, if it has one. Of course I realize people are not going to install Squid or something like that just to make BFilter faster, so I am planning to implement caching inside BFilter.

Having said that, I don't see how the new version can be slower than the old one. Well, actually I can. The old version didn't have to load the images it mistakenly considered to be ads.

Hah, that made me smile! Good answer. I'll stay tuned for further updates.

thanks, Doug
