"Adult" Media Blocker
« on: July 10, 2002, 07:42:15 PM »
I am attempting to get this to work and I keep getting every page blocked or there are "This Page Contains Porn or Vulagarity" everywhere. Does anybody have a working CFG for blocking adult wensites/ads/etc? Thanks. Here are the files I was using:

http://www.davidsinter.net/files/Naughty.txt

hi punkrawk,
in my filter set i've removed the filter you're talking about, but i have in my blocklist a huge list of blocked porn sites.

if you are interested, download my config here:
http://virgolamobile.50megs.com/proxomitron.html
and look in adhostlist.txt

you can copy those urls in a new blockfile a create a new filter blocking that url. you can call this way an html page customized with your own message when a site is blocked.

regards,
altosax.

hi again,
i've just read your config file.
these lists will never work because you don't have any filter calling them.

you can find the appropriate one in my filters archive, on the same page linked above. search the text in it for naughty

regards,
altosax.

I cannot access your files.  i get the message:

Forbidden
Remote Host: [64.178.91.101]

You do not have permission to access http://virgolamobile.50megs.com/binaries/proxoarchive.zip
Data files must be stored on the same site they are linked from.

Thank you for using 50megs

Hello

punkrawk, i don't know what filter config you have, but you have probably activate a header filter who resembles that this exemple :
In = FALSE
Out = TRUE
Key = "Referer: Fake referrer info - URL (Out) {4.d}"
URL = "(^$LST(Allow-Referrers))"
Match = "*"
Replace = "u"

50megs sites don't like this filter.

You can activate the Bypass, or add to the Allow-Referrers file this set :
virgolamobile.50megs.com/
Or :
[^/]++.50megs.com/

And after that, return to the homepage for download the file
