RE: Very Nice WinXP Browser
I made note of your latest update dealing with 'dom.ipc.plugins' and I agree with that being a better fix. I still have not checked my settings ... hope to do so later today and will try your update fix.

In case you missed it, there were new updates released yesterday for K-Meleon and New Moon.

Update: Checked my settings both with K-Meleon and New Moon.

The dom.ipc.plugins.enabled were already set to 'false' in both browsers. However, the dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs was 20 seconds in New Moon and 45 seconds in K-Meleon.

I set them both to -1 ... it was with KM that I had the plugin-container popping up but my firewall would stop it from connecting.

With the -1 setting I will see what happens with that browser.

RE: Very Nice WinXP Browser
Just read your post ... you probably have discovered by now that MSFN is back up ... there were new updates for everything released today (June 9th) by roytam1.

I was asking the same question at the K-Meleon forum earlier in the week and got this answer ... not knowing if MSFN would be back online.

Here are the links for the future if MSFN does go away ... I guess there was a horrible server meltdown or something to that effect, the last three months of posts are gone, back to Feb and March.

Links for the future where roytam1 has his updates for now.

The reply I got from hermes:
