RE: ProxHTTPSProxyMII: Reloaded
I just noticed "EnableProxy=False" and looked for it in the gui. Is that "Use Remote Proxy"??? Is that supposed to be checked?

Use the modified "default.cfg" in http://www.prxbx.com/forums/showthread.p...0#pid18260 to test. Sorry, my bad. I meant to say, Use the modified Proxomitron "default.cfg" "default-ProxHTTPSProxyMII.cfg" in http://www.prxbx.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=2172&pid=18260#pid18260 to test. Kye-U owns the board. I think it's still alive because it still works and is legendary . It still works due to the efforts of many and I am grateful. I hope I help. Otherwise, it's been 18 years, life happens. The Internet has become more complex and dynamic. The ranks of the few talented people have been diminished by other interests, employment, children, illness, death, fear of legal action, etc. The old filters should still work but they were written before some things existed. For example, the Proxomitron only filters files of certain content-types. "application/javascript" came later, https://www.prxbx.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=2260 . But I couldn't make heads nor tails of it. The thing that stuck in my mind was "CPU intensive". I had left Proxomitron when I started playing with Qubes OS. Now I've got the two working together and life is great again. So, can Proxomitron filter "application/javascript"? Or without the pros, we're at a loss? |

RE: ProxHTTPSProxyMII: Reloaded
Obviously I can't use sidki config packs... I'm thinking they were "dated" anyways...
I've been looking for some that preserve privacy against Google... |

RE: ProxHTTPSProxyMII: Reloaded
i've had a recent HTTPS site that used to work fine with Proxo and Sidki's "half-ssl"...
the HTTPS site just underwent some changes and now won't even work with Proxo in BYPASS... is this the situation that "ProxHTTPSProxyMII" is intended for? i have ZERO experience with "ProxHTTPSProxyMII", is it a trick for an old dog? |

ProxHTTPSProxyMII provides a nag free connection with the browser/client and an up-to-date connection with the remote server. Amy's patches for the Proxomitron provide an up-to-date connection with the remote server. But neither seems to apply to your situation. |
