Fairly simple:

Open Notepad, as if you were going to write something;

Don't write anything - leave the screen completely blank!;

Save the file with the desired name, in this case Macromedia (no extension) - do so in the correct folder, as per your Operating System version.


If you check the folder in Explorer (or with the DIR command, at the command prompt), you should see the filename with Zero bytes, and the current date/time. This is good enough for any version of Windows to prevent the creation of a folder of the same name, in that same directory/folder.
