Browser Security Pack - Kye-U - Jul. 01, 2004 10:12 PM

I've browsed through IE, Opera, and Mozilla vulnerabilities, and I've created filters to fix them. I think I will keep this Set updated each time a new vulnerability is found, for any browser Eyes Closed Smile

Please note that some filters may match another known exploit.

Enjoy, and please report any bugs/false matches. (With the full URL and name of filter)

IF I could only download the dang thing...

Now, what browser did you use to download it?

this post has been edited - the format has been changed to fit your screen...

- Shea - Jul. 02, 2004 12:07 AM

I just tested downloading it with the following browsers:

Internet Explorer 6
Firefox 0.9
Mozilla 1.7
K-Meleon
Internal Browser In Kazaa Lite Resurrection

Those are all the browsers I have installed on this computer and they all work fine for downloading the attachment. I don't think the browser is your problem.....

- besafe - Jul. 02, 2004 01:07 AM

I just d/l it with Sleipnir with no problems.

- ProxRocks - Jul. 02, 2004 02:02 AM

I get an AUTHORIZATION MISMATCH ERROR...

IE6, MyIE2, Sleipnir...
Proxo BYPASSED...
Cache CLEARED - even index.dat...
Completely rebooted...

On THREE different computers, TWO different ISP's...

What the "hockey stick" is going on?

- ProxRocks - Jul. 02, 2004 02:09 AM

Will somebody please be so kind as to post this attachment on Computer Cops?

- Shea - Jul. 02, 2004 02:17 AM

Maybe you should download Invision Power Board 1.3 Final and se for yourself why your getting the error.

- ProxRocks - Jul. 02, 2004 02:18 AM

Did you ever once look at the copyright on the bottom of the forums...where it says 'Powered by Invision Power Board(U) v1.3 Final ? 2003 IPS, Inc.'? Or on the title bar of the main page of the forums...'Provided by Invision Power Board'? Invision Bower Board is the name of the forum software!

ProxRocks, I've e-mailed the file to you Eyes Closed Smile

- ProxRocks - Jul. 02, 2004 02:26 AM

Shea,

Yes, but what does that have to do with me ACCESSING the forum?

Are you suggesting that I need to learn ANOTHER piece of software just to download from this forum? Computer Cops doesn't make me do that...
