And maybe the solution to the TOR server deficiency is a pay-for-use system that would entice more servers into the network if they knew they could at least break even, cost-wise. Let's face it, while many netizens are civic minded and are willing to volunteer, there are these little things called 'bills' that usually crop up once a month for such things as electricity, hosting services, perhaps even raw bandwidth usage. I can well imagine that putting up a TOR-specific server would just about run the average volunteer into the poor house in next to no time at all.

I got it to boot up, but it was ssslllllooooooooowwwww...
and it never did connect to the 'net...
I guess when it comes to "LiveCD's", I'll stick with Puppy and Knoppix...
